Fifteen year old asphalt at Santa Fe Municipal Airport was given an application of PDC - Pavement Dressing Conditioner. Heavy Traffic and fuel spills had nearly destroyed the asphalt runways and apron areas at this busy airport. After considering costly pavement replacement, officials at Santa Fe tested PDC and felt it would be an effective alternative. Now, over 100,000 square yards of asphalt is protected from further deterioration, and sealed against fuel and containment spills. PDC meets or exceeds all FAA specifications and qualifies for Airport Improvement Program (AIP) funding.
